Moving Tips to Save Time and Money
Pre-pack all small and loose items. Mark the boxes with room name or number to avoid confusion when unpacking. Example: bedroom 1, kitchen cups (arrow up).
Remove loose and heavy items from drawers and pack or bag seperately. Label the box or bag. Bedding can be bagged to keep clean.
Place boxes and bags near entrance if practical to speed up loading. Remember you are paying by the hour and the longest part of the move is loading.
If you have a complex entertainment system label the wire and connections to simplify re-installing.
Remember to contact your utility companies and fill out change of address.
